Your options

All information without guarantee, as of November 2026. Terms and offers change regularly – only the information on the providers' official websites is binding.

  • Charles de Gaulle – RER B: straight to Gare du Nord, Châtelet and on to the Latin Quarter. Cheap, but crowded at rush hour.
  • Charles de Gaulle – Roissybus: to Opéra Garnier – handy for the 9th arrondissement and the Grands Boulevards.
  • Orly – Metro line 14: since 2024 the driverless metro runs without changing from the airport to Châtelet and Saint-Lazare.
  • Orly – Orlyval and Orlybus: Orlyval connects with RER B at Antony, the Orlybus goes to Denfert-Rochereau.
  • Taxi at a flat fare: since 1 February 2026 it's €56 from Charles de Gaulle to the Right Bank or €65 to the Left Bank, and €45 or €36 from Orly.

Tips

  • A dedicated airport ticket: for RER B, metro 14 and Orlyval you need the “Paris Région ↔ Aéroports” ticket – a regular metro ticket isn't enough. The Roissybus has its own ticket.
  • Official taxis only: take a taxi from the rank with a roof light and meter. The flat fare covers the direct ride, with no luggage surcharge.
  • Navigo on your iPhone: the Navigo card is available right in Apple Wallet – see our public transport guide.
  • Where you stay matters: the Right Bank (e.g. 8th, 9th, 10th) is closer to Charles de Gaulle, the Left Bank (e.g. 5th, 6th, 14th) is easier from Orly.
