Your options at a glance
- Train and bus: usually cheapest, but tiring with lots of luggage or changes. Some lines stop running late at night.
- Taxi: door to door. Fixed price or meter depending on the country – only use official taxis from the rank.
- Ride-hailing apps: price shown upfront, but not allowed everywhere, and the pick-up point is often further from the exit.
- Pre-booked transfer: fixed price, the driver waits with a name sign. Ideal at night, with children, lots of luggage or if you don't speak the language.
What to check when booking
- Give your flight number: so the driver sees if you land later.
- Waiting time: how long the driver waits for free – baggage and passport control can take a while.
- Vehicle: space for luggage, child seat, number of passengers.
- Meeting point and contact: where exactly the driver waits and how to reach them.
- Cancellation: until when you can cancel for free.

How Voynera helps
Booked transfers appear in the arrival briefing with meeting point and phone number. If you haven't booked one, Voynera shows transfer offers before departure – not if a rental car is booked or your card includes ride credit.
