Your options

  • Metro (Red Line): stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and runs towards Downtown, Dubai Marina and beyond. Cheap and air-conditioned, but with luggage restrictions.
  • Taxi: at every terminal, metered – often the best choice for beach hotels or with lots of luggage.
  • Buses: connect the terminals with many districts but take longer.
  • Transfer or hotel shuttle: many hotels offer a pick-up.

Tips

  • Nol card: for metro and buses you need a rechargeable Nol card – available from machines and counters at stations.
  • Luggage on the metro: large suitcases are only allowed to a limited extent – with lots of luggage a taxi or transfer is better.
  • Terminal 2: has no metro connection; take a taxi or bus from there.

How Voynera helps

After landing, Voynera's arrival briefing shows the route and travel time to your accommodation – and doesn't suggest a transfer if you've already booked one or your card includes ride credit.
