Terms of Use

For the Voynera app and the website voynera.app – as of November 2026

The essentials

  • Live data without guarantee: Gate, terminal, platform, times and delays come from external data sources and can be late or wrong. The displays and announcements at the airport or station and the information from the airline or railway always take precedence.
  • Voynera helps, you decide: Check deadlines, entry requirements and card benefits with the respective providers and authorities.
  • No bookings through Voynera: Contracts for flights, hotels, eSIMs, transfers or parking are concluded directly with the respective provider.

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the Voynera app (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch) and the website voynera.app. The provider is René Lorei, Düsseldorf, Germany (see imprint).

If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms supplement it. The provider alone, not Apple, is responsible for the app's content and support.

2. What Voynera is

Voynera is an app for organising trips: it reads booking confirmations, assigns them to trips, reminds you of appointments and shows travel information and card benefits.

Voynera is not a travel agency, tour operator or intermediary for travel services. Contracts for travel services are concluded exclusively between you and the respective provider.

There is no entitlement to a particular availability or set of features. Features may be changed, added or discontinued, for example if a data source is no longer available.

3. Live flight and train data

Flight data (status, times, terminal, gate, check-in desk, baggage belt) comes from AeroDataBox, train data (platform, delay, cancellation) from Deutsche Bahn. It is retrieved and passed on automatically and can be late, incomplete or wrong.

Live data does not replace the official displays and announcements at the airport or station, nor the notices from the airline or railway company. Only these are authoritative.

Notifications on iPhone and Apple Watch, in widgets or in the Live Activity can arrive late or not at all – for example without a connection, in flight mode or when a data source doesn't respond. So always plan with a buffer.

4. Reminders, travel times and deadlines

Reminders to leave, travel times, warnings about tight connections, check-in times, cancellation deadlines and expiry dates are calculated from your confirmations and external sources. They are an aid, not a promise. The provider's terms are binding.

5. Country check, entry and health

Information on entry, visas, health and safety summarises official sources and may be shortened or out of date. The information from the authorities, such as the German Federal Foreign Office, and the embassy of the destination country is binding.

Voynera does not provide legal, tax or medical advice. This also applies to the passenger rights assistant and expense reports.

6. AI features

With your consent, Voynera analyses confirmations with AI (Claude by Anthropic) and answers questions in “Ask Voynera”. AI can make mistakes. Check recognised bookings before saving them and rely on the linked sources for important decisions.

7. Card benefits and status

Information on credit card, hotel and airline benefits, credits, lounges and status points is an estimate or reflects what you entered. The terms of the card issuer or programme apply.

Voynera is not an offer of any card issuer, airline or hotel chain.

8. Partner links

Some links in the app and on the website are partner links (Amazon, Travelpayouts, Awin). If you buy or book through them, Voynera earns a commission; the price stays the same for you. The contract is concluded exclusively with the respective provider, who is also responsible for the service, price and terms.

9. Your use

Only forward confirmations to your Voynera address that concern you or your fellow travellers. If you share a trip, the people you invite can see its content.

Misuse of the app or the Voynera servers is not permitted – for example automated mass requests, circumventing technical protection measures or reselling data from the app.

Your trips are stored on your devices and in your iCloud. Also keep important documents such as tickets and boarding passes with the provider or in your mailbox.

10. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.

In the case of slight negligence, the provider is only liable for breach of an essential obligation whose fulfilment makes use possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may rely – limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

This applies in particular to missed flights, trains, connections or deadlines caused by late or incorrect live data, notifications or calculations.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated if features, data sources or the legal situation change. The current version is always available on this page.

12. Applicable law and contact

German law applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country.
