Your options

All information without guarantee, as of November 2026. Terms and offers change regularly – only the information on the providers' official websites is binding.

  • Aerobús: express bus from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to Plaça de Catalunya – frequent, direct and with room for luggage.
  • Metro L9 Sud: stops at both terminals; a special airport ticket applies to journeys to and from the airport.
  • R2 Nord train (Rodalies): runs from the station at Terminal 2 to Sants and Passeig de Gràcia; from Terminal 1 take the shuttle bus.
  • Taxi: at both terminals, metered with an airport surcharge.

Tips

  • Check your terminal: Terminals 1 and 2 are far apart – check your booking for where you land and depart.
  • Pickpockets: watch your valuables on buses and the metro, especially with luggage.
  • Standard tickets: the city's multi-trip ticket isn't valid for the airport metro station.

How Voynera helps

After landing, Voynera's arrival briefing shows the route and travel time to your accommodation – and doesn't suggest a transfer if you've already booked one or your card includes ride credit.
