Ways into the lounge
- Business or first-class ticket: usually valid for the lounges of the airline and its alliance.
- Airline status: such as Star Alliance Gold, oneworld Sapphire or Emerald and SkyTeam Elite Plus – often in economy too, sometimes with a guest.
- Premium credit cards: some include Priority Pass membership or access to their own lounges, for example the American Express Platinum.
- Priority Pass: membership for airline and independent lounges worldwide.
- Day pass: many independent lounges sell entry at the door or online.
Priority Pass in brief
Priority Pass gets you into lounges at airports worldwide – regardless of the airline and class you fly. Plans differ mainly in how many visits are included; guests usually cost extra. At some airports you get restaurant credit or other benefits instead of a lounge.
It's worth it especially if you fly several times a year and have no access through your credit card or status.
Good to know
- No guaranteed seat: at peak times lounges fill up and even members may have to wait.
- Right area: lounges are airside, often split into Schengen and non-Schengen areas.
- Opening hours: lounges at smaller airports often close early.
Membership
The lounge finder shows which lounges at your airport you can use through your card, status or booking class. Voynera only suggests Priority Pass if you have no other access.
